What is Mobile Camping ?
Tanzania Mobile safaris are built on the tried-and-true philosophy of “taking everything with you yet leaving nothing behind.” Each tour can be personalized for groups in terms of route, location, needs, and interests, and can be designed for small groups of four to eight people .
The safaris are fully guided by the best local guides, and tourists travel between destinations in specially customized vehicles.
Accommodation is in private canvases built up specifically for the safari at each place. The mobile safari crew moves them between locations, using a truck to ‘transfer’ the camp and put it up before you arrive.
Guests can choose the level of luxury they want from the camp, but they will all be in individual tents.
The comfort levels of mobile safaris range from “comfortable” tents to “luxury” tents with en-suite toilets. You can help with camp chores to keep the cost down, or you can choose for the more luxurious alternative, where a dedicated crew handles all of the work.
